About
The corsey edge is a very unique Yorkshire expression for the kerb ('curb') - the physical separation where the pavement meets the road. It was/is also a very familiar warning from parents to children to 'gerroff corsey edge!'
I've always loved the phrase, both for its heritage and also for what it represents. Sometimes you're on the road, sometimes on the pavement, and sometimes you're balancing precariously between the two - ont' corsey edge.
That's here. Somewhere to record a little of my own journey. Thoughts, observations, photographs, music, experiences and whatever else happens to catch my interest.
There's no particular theme, ambition or publishing schedule. Just a small, simple space on the web to collect things, reflect occasionally and share whatever feels worth sharing.
If something catches your interest, or you just want to say hello, you're welcome to email me at letters@corseyedge.com or simply subscribe to the RSS feed.
